About Me
Hey you, thanks for stopping by! Given that you're viewing my Blogger profile page, I assume you're digging some scoop on me. I'm flattered. So I started this blog in December 2003, after my husband and I got sick of the DC area and just up and left for Shanghai, China. This blog was our way of sharing the trials and tribulations of living abroad. Following two and a half years in China, we returned to the States in 2006. I characterize my challenging re-assimilation to US suburban life as being an immigrant in my native country. For the next nine months, I busted my butt at a fuel cell startup. Now, I'm joining a government agency dedicated to acquiring and preserving green spaces. Work-life balance: that is the goal. Keep up with what's new: stop by often!
